Tyler Honeycutt has died at the age of 27 from a self inflicted gunshot wound after a shoot out with the cops, according to ESPN. Honeycutt’s mom called police Friday afternoon, reporting her son was acting erratically. When police arrived on the scene, a shot was fired from the home and then shots were returned by law enforcement. Nobody was injured at this time but when SWAT later entered the home, Honeycutt was found dead by apparent self inflicted gunshot.
“Honeycutt, 27, played for the Bruins from 2009 to 2011. He was a second-round pick by the Kings in the 2011 NBA draft and played in 24 games over two seasons before continuing his professional career overseas.”
