Jay got me hooked on the Marvel shows on Netflix. It started with “Jessica Jones” after he told me her personality was a lot like mine which is funny because she’s rude and cold. I took a chance on it because everyone wants to see a character who someone else compares them to and my best friend in elementary school was named Jessica Jones. I loved the show and from there, I backtracked and watched the shows that came before it which at the time I believe was just “Daredevil”. After DD was “Luke Cage” and then came “Daredevil 2” then “Iron Fist” then “The Defenders” then “The Punisher” and that’s where I lost my steam. That order might be off a little but after that there’s been another Luke Cage, another Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Daredevil. I have been trying to get Brett caught up so we can watch them together but with so many other shows on right now, it’s hard to make time for it. We will get there eventually but now part of me is blaming people like for the news of Daredevil being cancelled.

If I just would have put my other shows aside and committed to the series, would it still be on? I mean that’s why they chose to cancel shows right? Viewership is down? Or in this case streams. Fuck man, cancel “Manifest”, the acting in that show sucks (I still watch it every week and now I’m blaming myself for it NOT getting cancelled) . I’m spiraling out of control here. First Netflix axed “Iron Fist” which I understand because that series wasn’t the best then “Luke Cage” was cancelled which shocked me because I felt like that was the best out of all of them and now MATT MURDOCK!!!!

According to CNN, Netflix made a statement to them and said,

“We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note.”

I swear to god if the last season doesn’t give me some closure I’ll be pissed but I’m guessing since they say it ends on a high note, I’ll be satisfied.
